100% – Complete takeover of Next Generation Analytics:Kastner & Verstraten take over even the last 49% – As logical consequence of their successful story, NGA is 100% in their hands now
Not long ago, the majority shareholders DI Dr. Friedrich Kastner and Corné Verstraten could take over the previous NGH Next Generation Holding ‘s 49 % of the shares in Next Generation Analytics GmbH with headquarters in Grieskirchen.
100% ownership: Kastner 70%, Verstraten 30%
Thus, the Dr. Kastner GmbH and Corné Verstraten – who founded the Verstraten GmbH especially for this purpose – are the owners of 100% of the Next Generation Analytics GmbH.
Strong partners: Growth path is supported by investors
As of May 2026, the Dr. Kastner GmbH holds 70% of the shares in Next Generation Analytics GmbH, the Verstraten GmbH 20% and Corné Verstraten holds 10% personally. This transaction is financed by Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich and Raiffeisenbank Grieskirchen as well as by Invest AG.

Perfect moment to take over
„The takeover is the consequent next step in the history of Next Generation Analytics “, explains DI Dr. Friedrich Kastner. He and Corné Verstraten already owned the majority of shares and have created the development of the group and are responsible for every step.
With the acquisition of the remaining 49%, the owner structure is future oriented and clear now – also against the background of a stronger focus of the initially involved partners to their respective portfolios. The timing is intentional to realize this reorganization by focusing the future. At the same time, Josef Hochreiter, CEO of NGH Next Generation Holding, goes into his well-deserved retirement.
The beginning of a common, international story of success
What started twelve years ago with a brave decision, has developed to an international story of success:
End of February 2014, together with Josef Hochreiter and Gerold Barth (COO NGH), DI Dr. Friedrich Kastner and Corné Verstraten took over the tradition-rich, Bavarian company COLLIN from the former owner Dr. Collin.
For the innovator Kastner and the sales expert Verstraten, it quickly became clear that they did not only want to continue the business but to create a technological future. With strategic vision, high innovation capacity and the sense for international markets, they developed COLLIN to a globally recognized premium supplier for extrusion lines from laboratory to production scale for different industry sectors.
The construction of the new COLLIN location in Maitenbeth in 2018 marked another important milestone. At the same time, Kastner and Verstraten consequently extended the portfolio– from solutions for the medical sector and pharmaceutical industry via lines for the food and animal feed industry up to technologies for the defence sector. Even in challenging times like the corona pandemic, especially the wide range and high production depth proved to be the decisive factor for success.
100 percent takeover as logical, next step
The recent 100 percent acquisition of Next Generation Analytics does not come as a surprising development but as a logical consequence of twelve years of innovative and economic strength.
Parallel to the further development of COLLIN, under the management of DI Dr. Friedrich Kastner and Corné Verstraten, an international group of companies with locations in Austria, Germany, USA and India was created. Today, the NGA group unites companies from extrusion mechanical engineering, slot dies, film testing systems and recycling technologies. With around 180 employees worldwide, a group turnover of approx. 40 million euros and an export rate of around 85 percent, today, the group of companies is one of the leading international experts in its sector.
The group is particularly proud of its innovative strength: 26 active patent families with in total 143 international individual patents underline the claim to technological leadership. This success is supported by a globally acting sales team and 40 international agents, who support customers on almost all continents – from Europe via North and South America to Southeast Asia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Australia and New Zealand.
